Committee finalises renewal plan

A DRAFT plan of the Hampton Park Community Renewal project, designed to address the main priorities of the Hampton Park community, is being finalised by the renewal committee.
Residents and local businesses developed a number of key themes during community consultations held last year, and the project is designed to build on the community’s assets and strengthen opportunities for positive change in Hampton Park.
The project encourages residents to be involved in deciding how best to achieve a number of objectives, including participation in decision-making, new job and education opportunities, increased neighbourhood volunteering and the improved feeling of safety and wellbeing.
A draft plan will be presented to Casey council in the near future.
