Bank provides blue week cheer for kids

CASEY ANZ Banks raised $8700 as part of Blue Week for Casey Kidz Klub, a program for children and young adults with disabilities.
Nine local branches including Dandenong Plaza, Endeavour Hills, Fountain Gate, Berwick, Hampton Park, Lynbrook Village and Cranbourne spent from Monday 18 to Friday 22 February fundraising for the club.
The branches were decorated in blue and sold blue piggy banks and had face painting for the children.
They also held movie nights, sausage sizzles, football games, street and market stalls, animal displays and horse and cart rides.
Blue Week is an ANZ national initiative that supports the local community by fundraising and creating community awareness.
Each branch around Australia chose a local charity to support and spent the week fundraising for the charity.
The money raised will be put towards Casey Kidz Klub’s first school holidays vacation care program.
Casey Kidz Klub is located at Beaconhills College in Berwick and is recognised as a key contributor to special needs services.
