Reserve a spot, it’s a hidden treasure

FRIENDS of Rivergum Reserve and local volunteers cleaned up Casey’s Rivergum Reserve last Sunday as part of Clean up Australia Day.
Friends of Rivergum Reserve volunteers Warren Calder and Tony O’Hara congratulated everyone involved.
“This was another successful Clean up Australia Day,” Mr Calder said.
Hampton Park Networking Group president Vanassa Gerdes said the reserve was a hidden treasure in the City of Casey.
She said it was the biggest reserve in Casey.
“For some reason this reserve is not marketed, it’s fantastic for picnics and days out with the children,” she said.
Friends of Rivergum Reserve are seeking more volunteers and meet on the third Wednesday of every month at the Arthur Wren Hall in Hampton Park.
