TWO burglaries committed in the early hours of Sunday morning may be related, according to Cranbourne Police.
The Cranbourne Salvation Army, located on New Holland Drive, had its front door jemmied open between 1:30am and 2am. The offenders left empty handed.
Minutes later, at 2:05am, tenpin bowling alley Bowland, on Berwick-Cranbourne Road, was also broken into after a block of wood was used to break through the glass doors.
Thieves disconnected the wires to two cash drawers, which contained a small quantity of cash, and also escaped with a bottle of liquor.
Lottie Mascadri from Bowland said it was the second time in six months the alley had been robbed.
