THE appearance of a cute and cuddly visitor brightened up a wet and cold morning at Tooradin Primary School recently.
On Tuesday 24 June the school’s prep classes had a visit from a little lamb called Heidi who was brought in for the students to enjoy by a staff member to celebrate the end of term two.
Early years co-ordinator Rachel Davis said students welcome their visitor with open arms.
“It was an exciting start to the day to have a little lamb to learn about and the students enjoyed the chance to hold and pat such a gentle farm animal,” she said.
“The combination of bleating from Heidi the lamb and the infectious laughter of the prep children made for an entertaining day.
“Students remarked that the lamb was soft and cuddly and that she kept trying to wriggle and escape.”
