CRANBOURNE Park celebrated their partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) this month with a special event.
The shopping centre hosted a breakfast event in the food court on Sunday 4 May.
City of Casey deputy mayor Amanda Stapleton was in charge of the formalities and the 60 plus attendees were moved to tears as local resident and guest speaker Tracey Ryan spoke about her battle with breast cancer and how the BCNA has supported her.
Marketing manager Michelle Symss said this was the first time the centre had held a community breakfast and they were extremely grateful for the generosity of the attendees.
“I would also like to thank the centre retailers that sponsored the event McDonald’s, Bakers Delight and South Gippsland Showcase Jewellers,” she said.
“The BCNA provides amazing support, information, and care to those affected by breast cancer.
“Every dollar of the $10 ticket price was donated to BCNA to support the work they do with the 15,000 women and 125 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
“We wish Tracey and her family all the best as she continues her journey.”
