Layne surfs in to speak

LAYNE Beachley will surf her way to the Cardinia Cultural Centre next month as the guest speaker for the Casey-Cardinia Business Breakfast.
Widely regarded as one of the most successful female surfers in history, the Australian sports champion will provide a morning of entertainment in Pakenham.
The only surfer to claim six consecutive world titles, Layne went on to win a seventh in 2006 before retiring from the ASP World Tour two years later.
After she spent two decades breaking down gender barriers in her profession, in recent years Beachley has committed herself to making it easier for young women to achieve their goals and established the Layne Beachley Aim For The Stars Foundation. Beachley will visit the Cardinia Cultural Centre on Wednesday 25 June from 7am until 9am, with registrations closing at 6.45am.
The cost is $50 per person or $7000 for table sponsorship – includes breakfast, tea and coffee upon arrival.
To register, please visit www.trybooking.com/52316 or contact Raylene Wilson on 9705 5200 or at rewilson@casey.vic.gov.au.
