Glew at business apex

LOCAL business woman Meagan Glew was announced as the inaugural chairperson for the Casey-Cardinia Business Group (CCBG) as part of its first birthday celebrations.
The lawyer from South-East Lawyers in Berwick is also a local resident to the area with a wealth of experience.
City of Casey mayor Geoff Ablett commended her commitment to the area.
“Some of her contributions to the local area include a role as Chair of the Women Making It Work business network group of which she is still a member, and her current position as president of the Windmill Theatre Company,” he said.
“Ms Glew will be an exceptional leader for this growing group, which provides support and networking opportunities to local businesses and helps to promote the Casey Cardinia region as a great place to do business.
“Cardinia Shire mayor Graeme Moore said the Casey-Cardinia Group looked strong as it prepared for its second year.
“CCBG memberships are being renewed and an additional 37 new members have joined since February, taking the total membership base to almost 200 members,” he said.
Cr Moore also spoke on the benefits of a membership which include unique opportunities to network, plus support and professional development via a number of high profile events.
“It is the best way for local business people to connect and share information and build long-term mutually beneficial relationships,” Cr Moore said.
