SOUTH Sea Roller Derby is going gaming with a Super Mario Blockers bout in Keysborough on Saturday 3 May.
Home teams the Dolly Rogers and Blackheart Breakers will battle it out for the first time this year to see who’ll rescue the metaphoric princess that is derby glory – all while dressed as characters from the most recognisable video game.
The event will aid In2Life, which is an organisation that aims to reduce homelessness, drug use, offending, early school leaving, suicide and self-harm.
There’ll be music, MCs, half-time entertainment, stalls and an op-shop.
Springers Leisure Centre is at 400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough.
Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start.
