TWO men smashed a car window and stole a handbag sitting on the seat, before using the stolen credit card to buy $3000 worth of goods.
Overnight between Thursday 20 and Friday 21 March, a car window was smashed on a 2013 Mazda parked outside a house in Bellevue Drive, Berwick.
A handbag, which was in plain view on the car seat, was stolen.
Credit cards that were in the stolen handbag were then used at businesses in Scoresby, Ferntree Gully, Wantirna, Ashburton and Dandenong.
About $3000 was spent in total.
Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
