CRANBOURNE Police believe arsonists set fire to a memorial garden at St Peter’s College over the weekend of 19 October and 20 October.
They believe an accelerant may have been used to set alight a crucifix, with the fire spreading to nearby plants. A groundskeeper at the school came across the fire and put it out.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Detective Senior Constable Michael Van Hamond on 5991 0600.
