Session to help parents

CASEY parents are encouraged to come along to a parent information session next week on Bringing Children Up, Without Putting Them Down.
The session, presented by renowned industry expert and author on children’s behaviour and parenting Jeanette Harrison, will explain the link between self-esteem and behaviour, and show how self-esteem can be enhanced, enabling better behaviour and growth towards independence and responsibility.
City of Casey children’s services manager Colette McMahon said raising children who were confident and responsible was a difficult task for any parent.
She said the session would explore how parents could enjoy and effectively manage their children’s behaviour and confidently raise them without putting them down, so to speak.
The session will be held next Wednesday 7 November from 7pm to 9pm at the Council Chambers on Magid Drive, Narre Warren.
