Police hunt early-bird bandit

POLICE are seeking to identify a man believed to have been involved with two separate burglaries at Casey businesses in recent months.
The first occurred on 14 December about 6.25am at the Raine and Horne real estate agent at Casey Central Shopping Centre in Narre Warren South.
Police said the man, who was wearing gloves, smashed a window to get inside and then unsuccessfully tried to gain entry to a safe which was bolted to a shelving unit.
The man left the scene with a briefcase containing keys to some rental properties and a shopping bag with a few unknown items.
Police believe the same man was involved in a burglary at Pharmore Pharmacy in High Street Cranbourne on Thursday 20 February about 5am.
A man, wearing gloves, forced entry to the front glass doors of the business and stole a charity box containing coins.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
