Third time lucky for break-in

POLICE believe a man wearing a motorbike helmet attempted to break into two food outlets before stealing cash from another.
About 5.30am on Monday 10 February, a man wearing a helmet was seen standing at the back door of Soya Noodle and Sushi in Parkhill Drive, Berwick.
He then started banging on the door with a hammer, before running off when he was disturbed.
He rode off on a red motorbike towards Narre Warren Cranbourne Road.
The man was described as wearing a Driza-Bone coat and a red, silver and white helmet.
About 5.50am, a man, also wearing a motorbike helmet, was seen using a sledgehammer to attempt to open the back door of Nando’s in Chapel Street, Lynbrook.
After he was unable to gain entry for about half an hour, the man was then seen breaking into Gold Sweets, on South Gippsland Highway, Lynbrook.
He managed to get inside and stole a cash till.
