Railway robbers use pole

FOUR teenagers were threatened with a metal pole and one robbed as they walked home from the Cranbourne Railway Station last Friday.
The four boys, including three brothers, had got off the train at about 11.30pm and were walking through the carpark near the bus shelters when a red Holden Calais sedan pulled up next to them.
One of the passengers got out of the car holding a long stick believed to be a metal pole and approached them.
He pushed them around a bit and threatened them with the pole then stole one of the boys’ wallets, got back in the car and they drove off.
He was described as Caucasian, about 19 years old, clean shaven, with wavy brown hair, medium build and wearing a dark T-shirt and dark baseball cap.
The other people in the car were also described as about 19 years old and wearing baseball caps.
The victims were three brothers from Cranbourne – 17-year-old twins and a 16-year-old – and their 17-year-old friend, also from Cranbourne.
