ABOUT $13,000 worth of copper was stolen from a Cranbourne East retirement village this month.
Between Friday 18 and Sunday 20 October, the copper was stolen from a construction site at Hunters Green Retirement Village, along Rochester Parade.
Police said there was extensive damage caused as a result of the theft and that the raiders would have spent a considerable time on the site.
