Road trauma brought home

LAST month a group of volunteers from RoadWhyz Victoria brought to life the reality of road trauma for VCAL students at Cranbourne Secondary College.
The presentation from Roadwhyz Victoria brought the emergency department to the schools grounds, and targeted both learner and probationary licensed drivers.
The raw presentation showcased the experiences of the police, ambulance paramedics, parents, offenders and Emergency Department staff at an accident scene.
The aim of these presentations is to empower students with tools and knowledge to ensure they make the right decisions behind the wheel.
As well as being exposed to a crash scene, students were also taught about CPR and how to revive someone who has been a victim in an accident.
