LOCAL children flocked to get a closer look at the animals at the Cranbourne Homemaker Centre last week.
On Wednesday 3 July, children came to cuddle and feed their fury feathered friends at the centre’s animal farm.
Cranbourne’s Best Friends as well as the local Office Works also joined in the day’s activities, with Best Friends holding animal handling and information classes, while Office Works held animal arts and crafts.
Centre manager Kate Parkinson said the animals are always a great hit.
“The animals are always popular with the children,” she said.
“It was great to see that the fun and learning doesn’t stop these school holidays.”
