Cameras catch thieves

POLICE have released images of a car and people believed to be involved in both a burglary and attempted burglary at the Cranbourne Homemaker Centre.
About 2.30am on Monday 10 June, two men got into the rear timber yard of Bunnings Cranbourne on Thompson Road and stole unknown items, which police believe had been placed there earlier.
The men were captured on CCTV in a white coloured early ’90s Holden Barina Swing hatch, with a black or dark coloured bonnet.
A car of the same description was also seen on CCTV at the scene of an attempted burglary two weeks later at JB Hi-Fi, in the same shopping complex.
Police said at about 5.15am on Sunday 23 June two men attempted to gain entry to the rear door of the JB Hi-Fi store using a jemmy.
The men spent a considerable amount of time at the location but were unable to gain access, police said.
Anyone with information about the incidents are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
