POLICE are seeking to identify a driver who was involved in a hit and run in Dandenong this week.
Police said a 37-year-old Cranbourne man was walking along Hammond Road about 3.40pm on Tuesday.
As he approached the intersection of Heart Street he tripped and fell onto the roadway.
Investigators believe that the man was then struck by a south-bound vehicle.
The vehicle did not stop after the incident and the man was taken to hospital with leg injuries, police said.
Police wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who can identify the vehicle or driver involved.
