Move on for principal

Don Bosco Primary School principal Brendan Marrinon has been appointed as the foundation principal of St Thomas the Apostle Primary School, in Cranbourne East.

A PRINCIPAL from a Narre Warren school has been appointed to lead a new school in Cranbourne East.
The current principal of Don Bosco Primary School, Brendan Marrinon, has been appointed as the foundation principal of St Thomas the Apostle Primary School, which is to open in Cranbourne East next year.
Mr Marrinon has more than 30 years’ experience in Catholic education and has held a number of leadership positions during that time.
He has previously been principal at St Agatha’s Primary School in Cranbourne, deputy principal at St Justin’s Primary School in Wheelers Hill and religious education co-ordinator at Mary MacKillop Primary School in Narre Warren North.
Mr Marrinon will start in the role of foundation principal at the start of term three this year.
“I’m looking forward to working in the Cranbourne parish again and building a new church community in Cranbourne East,” he said.
“My vision is to lead an educational community that is committed to a quality education for all students.”
