POLICE are seeking information after a teenager showed up in Cranbourne West with stab wounds.
The 16-year-old boy from Mulgrave flagged down a passing car on Monahans Road at 2.30am on Sunday.
He claimed he had been stabbed and asked the car’s driver to take him to hospital.
The driver called the ambulance and the boy was taken to The Alfred hospital with superficial wounds.
Subsequent police investigation showed he had received wounds to his back.
However, police are still unable to determine how, why or at what location the boy received the wounds.
