Beauties are well heeled

LOCAL beauties strutted their stuff on the catwalk in Cranbourne last week with aspirations higher than their heels.
Centro Cranbourne shopping centre hosted the Victorian heats of the 2013 Cosmopolitan Model Search on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The heats were staged as a fashion shows where the models will showed off the centre’s latest fashion and were judged by Miss Universe Australia Victorian Finalists Jessica White and Natasha Harris and Brazilian sports model Gui Di Nardo.
Miss Universe Australia and Cosmopolitan Model Search national director Deborah Miller said the winners from each heat will now go to the national final to be stage in February next year.
“Cosmopolitan Model Search gives hopeful candidates the opportunity to meet top international modelling agencies who could be willing to gamble on them and transform them into an international star,” she said.
