A CRANBOURNE business has been recognised as one of the top performing real estate sales offices in the country.
Real Estate Business magazine recently released its ‘Real Estate Business Top 50 Sales Offices’ report, in which Ray White Cranbourne was ranked 35th in Australia.
The inaugural ranking, partnered by RP Data, rated sales offices agents across a range of 2011 to 2012 financial year criteria, including sales volumes, sales numbers, conversion rates and office efficiency.
Ray White Cranbourne chief executive Mark Guthrie said13 salespeople had sold 343 properties in the last financial year.
“Their sales values totalled over $132 million and the office was able to sell 72 per cent of the properties they put on the market,” he said.
“This is almost unheard for the majority of real estate businesses in Australia.
Mr Guthrie said the ranking recognised many improvements in the business over the years.
“The award is great for the team as it recognises the hard work that is put in by many people and displays to the public that what we do is above average,” he said.
“The business is built on many years of improvement, both in individuals and the team, and a steady increase in activity.
“We started as a small business almost nine years ago and through the dedication and hard work and time committed we have improved every year and are now getting the recognition for this steady improvement.
“The bottom line is the business is good because of the awesome people in it.”
Mr Guthrie is treating his staff to a hot air balloon ride over the city this week to celebrate the coup.
