A LOVELORN woman has caught her house on fire after burning photos of her ex-boyfriend.
Police said a woman aged in her 20s was at home studying at about 1pm on Wednesday last week when she decided to burn the photos in a bucket in the laundry.
She then went back to the front of the house to continue studying when the fire spread at about 2.30pm. The fire caused at least $120,000 damage to the property in Maureen Close, Cranbourne West.
