Speaking on technology

ONE of Australia’s most respected technology journalists will take centre stage as guest speaker at the first Casey-Cardinia Business Breakfast Series for 2013 in March.
The Shire of Cardinia, City of Casey, Melbourne Football Club and Monash University are pleased to feature Brad Howarth as part of this educational and entertaining networking opportunity for the business community.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Amanda Stapledon said that the event was a great opportunity for local business people to gain a deeper insight into the new National Broadband Network (NBN) from a leading expert on technology, digital media and marketing.
“Brad has built his career around investigating the impact of technology on business, society and individuals for over two decades, documenting the challenges and possibilities that lie in new mediums,” she said.
“This event will highlight technology changes, and provide business people with advice on how to negotiate future challenges and profit from the new opportunities.
The Business Breakfast Series aims to bring local businesses and business leaders together to share their experiences, learn from one another and be motivated by high achieving, inspiring guest speakers.
The breakfast will also host representatives from NBN Co who will be on hand to speak to businesses regarding the timing of the NBN rollout in the local area.
The event will be held on 13 March from 7am until 9am at Cranbourne Golf Club, South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne. Cost is $45 per person of $600 to sponsor a table.
