Thieves again hit medical centre

THIEVES have again cut phone lines before robbing a Cranbourne North medical centre.
The Thompsons Road Medical Centre was broken into between 8.30pm last Thursday and 4am on Friday, exactly two weeks after the last incident.
The phone lines were first cut, activating a silent alarm, and then thieves jemmied the rear door, made their way to the office and jemmied a safe that was attached to the floor.
They then made off with the small, grey, key-operated safe, which contained cash and some prescription drugs.
There were also jemmy marks on the Gribble Pathology next door to the medical centre, located on the corner of Thompsons and Woodbine roads.
In the last incident on 17 May, the centre was broken into at midnight and the phone lines cut, causing most of the phone lines around Cranbourne North to be down for about 10 hours.
Cash and a plastic bag full of Eftpos receipts were stolen.
