Kylie on the card

SHOPPERS at Centro Cranbourne could have been mistaken for thinking they saw Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue at their local shopping centre on Saturday.
But it was in fact Melbourne’s best-known Kylie impersonator Karolina Biel who made an appearance at the centre to promote this Saturday’s Cranbourne Pacing Cup.
Themed as Legends on Show, the night will celebrate legends of harness racing, sport and music.
On track, harness racing legends will compete in the coveted $100,000 Group 1 Decron Cranbourne Pacing Cup.
Off track, SEN personalities and AFL legends Kevin Bartlett and Daniel Harford will host the lively Legends Lawn Enclosure, which will include a $1000 cup sweep and DJ until 11.30pm.
Ticket prices for the enclosure are $40 and include course admission, race book, barbecue meal and visitors get their first beer or wine free.
To round out the evening, the club will also pay tribute to one of Australia’s legends of music with the Australian Ultimate Kylie Show live on stage from 8.30pm.
Gates open at 5.30pm with the first of 10 races kicking off at 6.30pm.
General admission is $15 for adults and $10 for pensioners and students.
For inquiries or bookings contact the Cranbourne Harness Racing Club on 5996 8677.
