A 20-YEAR-OLD Cranbourne man was attacked by a group of youths outside Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre on Friday.
The man was walking out of the shopping centre through the Greaves Street car park with his 17-year-old friend about 4.30pm when he was attacked.
A group of 10 teenage boys hanging outside the centre approached the victim, one of them grabbing him around his collar and punching him four or five times to the face.
The man received a blood nose, cut lip and broken tooth and was taken to hospital.
The victim said he had not had any conversation with the youths and could not understand why he had been picked out.
Any witnesses are urged to contact the officer in charge at Cranbourne Police Station on 5991 0600.
