CASEY youth were again treated to a range of activities over the Easter break.
The Casey School Holiday Program was a big success with teens participating in everything from the peace and quiet of crafts and jewellery making to sports adventure and action.
A popular activity was the Indoor Sports Day at the Casey Indoor Sports Centre in Cranbourne East last Thursday.
About 50 young people participated in a variety of sports including football, soccer, dodge ball and volleyball.
City of Casey youth and children’s services manager Lee McIntosh said it was fantastic to see some of the more experienced players helping beginners to improve their skills.
“Some spectacular long goals from both boys and girls in football were among the highlights of the action-packed day,” she said.
A delicious barbecue lunch and fruit platters were then provided by the William Angliss Casey Cafe to keep the players going strong.
Sporting chance for holiday fun
