CASEY residents are reminded now is the time to get rid of weeds to reduce the risk of them spreading into local bushland areas.
Locals are asked in particular to cut the dead flower heads off agapanthus, a prolific environmental weed in Casey.
To assist residents in identifying potential weeds in their gardens residents obtain a copy of the Casey Weeds Guide by calling the Council on 9705 5200 or check the website .
