A MAN was injured after someone threw a block of wood at a moving bus in Tooradin on Saturday.
Police said the bus was travelling along the South Gippsland Highway at about 10.30pm when a 90-centimetre block of wood hit the bus near Bayview Road.
It smashed a passenger side window, injuring the man sitting by the window as the bus returned to Melbourne. The man, a 32-year-old from Sunshine, was taken to Casey Hospital with minor cuts to his left arm.
Police are hoping someone driving past at the time might have seen who threw the block of wood.
Anyone with information can contact Senior Constable Glen Dunn at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
