Boy hurt in party brawl

PARTYGOERS were horrified when gatecrashers began assaulting one of the guests at a 17th birthday party in Cranbourne.
Police said about 30 guests were at the party in Endeavour Drive when a group of at least eight teenage boys crashed the party.
When they were asked to leave by the party’s host, they began assaulting a guest.
One of the alleged offenders, a 16-year-old Cranbourne West boy, was located by police at the scene.
He will be charged with affray by summons.
The injured guest, a 16-year-old Cranbourne West boy, was taken to hospital after suffering a broken nose, possible broken cheekbones, and lacerations and swelling to the face.
Inquiries are still continuing to locate the other offenders.
