Aquarium in the firing line

A REPTILE enclosure may have started a fire that destroyed a garage in Cranbourne just before Christmas.
Firefighters contained the garage fire before it could spread to the house on Banks Street.
Cranbourne CFA Fire Officer Phil Charles said the total loss had been estimated at $20,000.
Motorbikes, furniture and tools were just some of the items lost in the fire.
Two crews from Cranbourne, two from Clyde and one from Hallam were called to the fire at about 3pm on Thursday, 21 December.
Mr Charles said the fire might have started from a reptile aquarium located inside the garage, but the cause was still being investigated.
