CRANBOURNE Christian College will host a group of Mount Martha students this year as they wait to move into their new campus.
Balcombe Grammar School is a new independent school which is due to open in Mount Martha later this year.
The school will eventually develop into a prep to year 12 school but is initially starting with students in grades four to seven.
However, the campus is not quite ready to accommodate the children so for at least the first term of school, these students will travel to Cranbourne by bus.
At the end of last year the Mornington Peninsula students settled into their new home at Cranbourne Christian College in an orientation session with their new principal, Matthew Dodd, a Mount Martha resident who has taken up the position at the new school.
Cranbourne Christian College principal Jenny Hofmann said the school was looking forward to hosting the foundation students in their first important weeks at a new school.
