POLICE are seeking witnesses after a fire burnt out four hectares of land in Cranbourne South last week.
Significant damage was also done to fencing and stabling on the land as the fire spread over properties at 10, 12 and 14 Woodlands Road.
The fire started between 2pm and 2.30pm last Thursday. Police believed it was deliberately lit at number 12 in a heavily grassed area.
The fire was eventually brought under control by the CFA.
