Grinners are winners

CRANBOURNE people can test their photography skills while making people smile at the same time.
Cranbourne Centro Shopping Centre is running a competition for people to enter photos that make them grin.
The competition is part of the Smile with Centro campaign, which is aimed at making people smile and will raise money for The Smith Family.
The photos will be on display at the shopping centre from 2 to 27 October.
A selection of the best photos will then appear in a 2007 Smile with Centro calendar, which will be available at Centro centres in late October in exchange for a donation.
All proceeds go to The Smith Family to give disadvantaged children the opportunity for the best start in life.
Entry forms and an entry box are available at Centro until 15 September.
Rosemary Addis, The Smith Family’s Victorian general manager, said the competition had the potential to help more children achieve their potential.
“Centro is a longstanding supporter of The Smith Family and we’re delighted that they’ve launched this initiative to bring a smile to the face of the disadvantaged children we work with,” Ms Addis said.
