STUDENTS’ personal stashes were the main gain for thieves who broke into Hampton Park Secondary College last week.
Just after midnight on Saturday morning, the school was broken into, with thieves gaining access to the year nine coordinator’s office.
The office was ransacked and a mobile phone, iPod, three bags of chocolate frogs and a number of coloured envelopes containing confiscated students’ jewellery, with the students’ names on the envelopes, were taken.
The theft happened between 2.20am and 2.35am on 20 August.
Anyone with information should contact Detective Senior Constable Ed Keon-Cohen at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0600.
