$5000 raid on CFA

THIEVES have stolen more than $5000 worth of equipment from the joint Devon Meadows and Cannons Creek Fire Brigade.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) building on Glenalva Pde, Cannons Creek, was broken into between 8.30am on Thursday, 8 June and 9am on Sunday, 11 June.
Police said thieves had forced the shed and side door to the building open. They then broke into a fire truck inside the brigade building. A camera, microphone, dolphin torch, Motorola two-way radio and face plate, lights and siren control panel were stolen, valued at a total of $5000.
