Two teens fingered for suspicious scrub fire

By Sarah Schwager
POLICE are searching for two teenagers who may have lit a scrub fire in Cranbourne last week.
The fire started at about 5pm on 8 June in Minnahans Park on Monahans Road.
Police said a passer-by saw the fire and put it out before calling the fire brigade.
The witness said he had seen two young teenagers at the fire.
One of the boys was described as having long dark hair and wearing a black jacket with green fluoro strips on the back.
It has not yet been determined what caused the fire.
Anyone with information should call the officer in charge at Cranbourne Uniform on 5995 4681.
