FOUR Cranbourne Secondary College students shined in a recent photography exhibition.
The four senior students were named among the best in the region at the Casey-Cardinia National Photography Exhibition.
Year 10 students Stacey Dargan and Tailah Van Loo won first and second prize respectively in the Best Print category for the year 9/10 age group.
Haylea Lowther, year 12, came third in the Best Print for her age group and Stacey Kop, year 12, came third in the Best Creative Experimental Picture.
Photography teacher Hannah Murray said the students were very proud of themselves.
“They got quite a bit of a buzz looking at their work,” she said.
“And the quality of the other work was really high. They were very inspired by it.”
The exhibition was held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre at Lakeside, Pakenham.
Ms Murray said the school missed out by one point on being awarded the best school at the exhibition.
Students at the school can pick up photography at year 10 and continue through VCE if they choose.
