Man arrested over shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives have arrested a Cranbourne man following a shooting incident on Sunday morning, 19 November in Hampton Park.
The 25-year-old man was arrested with the assistance of the Special Operations Group in Cranbourne just after 3pm on 19 November.
Two men were hospitalised with gunshot wounds after an argument broke out between a group of men in the car park of a licensed premises on Hallam Road just before 1am.
The two Berwick men, aged 21 and 19 years, were conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe that the men involved in the argument and the victims were known to each other and had been at the address celebrating a birthday prior to the incident.
The man has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, prohibited person possessing firearms and other firearms-related offences.
He was expected to be remanded overnight to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 November morning.
