Hunt for driver after hit-run

VICTORIA Police is renewing calls for witnesses following a hit-and-run on Baxter-Tooradin Road in Pearcedale in October.
Police believe a green Subaru station wagon made a right hand turn onto Baxter-Tooradin Road from Craig Road and collided with a motorbike rider.
Police said the driver of the station wagon briefly stopped a short distance away but did not stay at the scene.
The 56-year-old motorbike rider from Pakenham suffered broken bones and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
He has since undergone extensive surgery and rehabilitation in order to recover but is still in the recovery phase of his injuries.
Police have released a computer generated image of a man who they believed may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is believed to be of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 50s, about 170cm tall with a solid build, ginger-grey beard, grey-white thin shoulder-length hair and a receding hair line.
Police have also released an image of a green Subaru Forrester station wagon, similar to the one they believe may be involved in the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
