THE CFA has advised residents in Casey’s coastal villages that smoke in the area is coming from a large boat fire in Warneet, which was not threatening the community.
A fire broke out on a large boat between Warneet Jetty and Quail Island this afternoon.
The CFA said the boat would burn for some time, and smoke would be visible in the area, but the fire was not threatening nearby communities.
