Reality crosses over

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

LAST night (Monday) Tooradin’s Hotplate stars Lozz and Nols from Wings and Fins restaurant bombed out on a chance to win $50,000.
Racking their brains on Millionaire Hot Seat, the duo managed to get just one question right.
Owner Nola DeLorenzo and head chef Lozz Klavins said it was exciting to meet Eddie himself.
“We were asked; what colour is a black box recorder in an airplane,” Nols explained.
With options of red, black, white and orange, ‘Lozz got it right with orange!’
Getting the second question wrong, the lobster lovers headed backstage to watch French father and son Philippe and Pascal win $1000 towards their restaurant in Sydney.
With $100,000 still up for grabs on the Hotplate, Lozz and Nols are watching and hoping that money is theirs.
“We don’t know who the winner is,” Nols said.
But winner or loser, she guarantees that viewers haven’t seen the end of her yet.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be at the Logies next year – there was a joke on set that I am ‘Red Carpet Nolsy.’
“I hope we get to go to the Logies, I’ll be putting all my voting flyers on the tables at the restaurant – they won’t be leaving until they fill them in,” she laughed.
