Bright night of smiles

By BRIDGET SCOTT

THERE were all smiles when the group of 39 boys and girls from Marnebek School stepped on to the stage for their presentation ball.
After an immense build-up and eight weeks of rehearsals, the girls twirled as the boys led the way into what was a fantastic night.
The group enjoyed a night to remember last Friday, 12 September, at Amberlee Receptions in Cranbourne.
Teacher and co-ordinator Nicole Dinsdale said: “Everything went exactly to plan.”
“We’ve had nothing but amazing feedback,” she said.
“We had one student say he had the best night of his life.”
The presentation ball was held for year 11 and 12 students in their final years of secondary school.
Thirty-nine students and seven staff took part in the evening which was the first one which Ms Dinsdale had organised.
The teacher said it was a great outcome for all.
“It was a great experience, getting to know the kids all over again,” she said.
“And knowing how happy they all were.”
