Police hunt try-again thieves

AN INDUSTRIAL air compressor has been stolen from a semi-rural property in Cranbourne.
Thieves removed the concreted front gate of the Westernport Highway property to gain access, before stealing the air compressor and four batteries from a nearby truck.
The offenders also attempted to steal the truck but were unsuccessful.
It is believed the same property was burgled six weeks ago using the same method, after which the posts for the front gate were concreted into the ground.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
