Teen assaulted in Cranbourne

Cranbourne police are appealing for public assistance following an unprovoked attack on a teenage boy at a shopping centre in Cranbourne on Monday 29 November.

Police have been told the boy was outside a make-up stand at the centre on High Street at about 6pm.

He was approached by a group of unknown males who kicked and assaulted him.

The victim, a 17-year-old Cranbourne boy, received minor injuries and managed to run from the scene.

The male offenders are perceived to be African in appearance and aged between 15 and 20 years old.

They were all wearing black face masks, Kathmandu puffer jackets, black pants and black shoes.

Investigators are looking to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have been in the area at the time.
