Testing police patience

A male driver was detected driving at excessive speed in an 80km zone on South Gippsland Highway, Lynbrook on Sunday 9 May by Casey Highway Patrol.

It is alleged the driver was speeding at 146km/h.

The driver stated he was testing his brakes.

The car was impounded for 30 days costing $1005, and the driver will be summonsed to appear at court.
