Cranbourne East Secondary College will soon have important new works undertaken, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Cranbourne Jude Perera announced the upgrade, with $170,000 allocated to upgrade the school’s Wellness Centre.

The Andrews Labor Government is working to strengthen community pride in schools and build the Education State so that every Victorian student gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.

The project is part of a $3.8 billion investment by the Government to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools.

The school building boom has delivered more than 1300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5000 construction jobs for Victorians.

“We’re upgrading schools across Victoria so families can know that no matter where they live they can access a great local school the whole community is proud of,” member for Cranbourne Jude Perera said.

“This upgrade is about more than giving Cranbourne East Secondary College students the school facilities they deserve – it’s about helping build community pride in a great local school.

“Labor built Cranbourne East Secondary College and this much needed upgrade will certainly go a long way in supporting the health and wellbeing of each and every student at Cranbourne East Secondary College.”
